Oliver Associates, Inc., provides an outstanding partnership for the sale of springs, stampings, screw machine parts and fasteners.

 

Roland Oliver, founder and CEO of the company, established Oliver Associates in 1965. Our history includes specializing in the sale of fasteners, screw machine parts, springs and stampings.

 

We cover the Southern United States working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).  The majority of our business is with the OEM in markets SIC 3400 through 3800.

 

 

We are a manufacturers' representative agency, providing sales expertise on behalf of manufacturers of fasteners, castings, stampings, forgings, machined products and related items.

Our business operations began in 1965. We cover the southeastern states with our main office (headquarters) Decatur, Alabama.,

Our customers are largely in the SIC Codes from 3400 through 3800 and include  manufacturers of:

automotive components

farm equipment manufacturers

appliance manufacturers

machinery manufacturers

electrical equipment and related industries.

Our Unique Service

Other agencies sell primarily to purchasing departments with little attention to design engineering.  While this is a simple method of conducting business, we opt for a "hands-on" approach.  We become partners from the start of the design and follow through to the point of purchase of the new part.

Our agency has the ability to work with both engineering and purchasing departments.  Depending on the customer's needs, we can work strictly with one department or combine our efforts to include all appropriate areas. Then we provide complete follow up with the customer after the sale. For example:

If a component, such as a special type of bolt, is not doing the job, we revisit and suggest changes in the application. We are well known because of our expertise in both of these areas.

Although our primary market consists from SIC codes 3400 - 3800, we welcome the opportunity to sell to other markets.
